Insurance & payment
We work with a range of insurance plans and offer flexible payment options. Share your plan details when you book and we'll help you understand your coverage before treatment starts — no surprises on the bill.
Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
Smilo Family Dental is a participating CDCP provider in London, Ontario. If you're covered, we bill the plan directly — you're not paying up front and waiting to be reimbursed, and you're not chasing paperwork.
You may qualify if your adjusted family net income is under $90,000, you don't have access to private dental insurance, and you and your spouse or partner have filed last year's taxes as Canadian residents. That covers a lot of people who assume they aren't eligible — students, part-time and self-employed workers, and retirees.
Apply at canada.ca/dental — it takes about ten minutes and you'll need your Social Insurance Number and last year's tax return. If your income is between $70,000 and $89,999 the plan covers a portion and there's a co-payment; we'll tell you what you owe before we start.

Nervous? You're in good company
Many of our happiest patients arrived anxious. Tell us when you book — we'll build in extra time, explain every step before it happens, and agree on a stop signal so you're always in control. If local freezing alone isn't enough, we offer sedation to help you stay relaxed; we'll talk through what suits you first. And if you ever feel faint or lightheaded, we keep water and juice on hand — just say so.
Bringing kids?
Dr. Chopra has a special focus on pediatric dentistry. First visits are gentle and positive — often just a ride in the chair and a count of teeth — so the dentist never becomes a scary place. We recommend a first visit between ages one and three.
